Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Tempo Cut at tempo-cut.com. By signing in you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Your account

You sign in with Google, Spotify, TikTok or a one-time email link. Keep access to those accounts secure; you’re responsible for activity on your Tempo Cut account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live.

Your content

You keep all rights to the songs, footage and text you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to run the features you use (transcription, beat detection, clip extraction and preview). Uploads are deleted automatically within about two days.

Only upload material you own or have permission to use. That includes music: make sure you have the rights to the tracks you edit and publish. Stock footage from Pixabay is subject to the Pixabay Content License.

Acceptable use

• No illegal, infringing, hateful or sexually exploitative content.
• No attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or to get around rate limits.
• No accessing other people’s accounts or data.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

The service

Tempo Cut is in early access and provided “as is”. Features can change, and automatic transcriptions and cuts can be wrong, so review your edit before you publish it. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost content. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken or if we shut the service down; when we can, we’ll give notice.
